The Kindergarten Department at Edugates prides itself in the diversity of its students and staff. We have students and teachers coming from all over the world. We aim to provide a pleasant, welcoming and safe environment. The students in the department range from the ages of 3 to 5 years olds. They are encouraged to develop social skills and self-confidence. Our students are encouraged to explore their potential both academically and personally. Our staff members are qualified in childcare and provide an excellent range of learning experience.
The curriculum is based on the American system. This includes subjects that are integrated to appropriately help the children learn better and are child-centered. A study plan is written and followed each academic year, this allows the students to explore all areas of academic learning and prepare them for future learning. A weekly study plan is followed by the teacher, this leads to uniform work in every class throughout the academic year. We teach all subjects like Phonics, Grammar, Mathematics, Science, Islamic, Arabic, Arts, P.E and ......... Our learning is not only book-based, hence, but the student also participates in fun activities and events. We organize trips twice a year. The students are taught by interacting with their teachers and one another. We believe in practical learning hence teachers are encouraged to utilize different resources to teach students. At the end of the year, the students are sent off with a big graduation ceremony where they wear graduation gowns and receive certificates.
